What is the best form of cardio? In our opinion it is hill sprints. Hill sprints are intense workouts that are much better than sprinting on flat ground. On top of them being more effective, they are better for your joints. Since you are running up an elevated level, your knees won’t take as much of a pounding. Because you are running up hill you are going slower.
So how do you do a hill sprint workout? There are a couple ways to do it, but our favorite is a timed workout. Set a timer for 20 minutes and perform as many hill sprints as possible. After this workout, write down the amount you completed and then the next time you do the workout you try to beat it.
