Water: The most important drink
When you go to a restaurant what do you normally order? I hope you said water! Not only is it free but its the most healthy drink you can have. America is addicted to soda and fruity drinks. These drinks are loaded with calories and carbs. They have no nutritional value. Yet people are addicted to sugar and will drink a ton of these.
Your body is made of roughly 70% water. It need water to survive. It contains zero calories so you can drink as much as you want. How much should you drink? We recommend 1/2-1 gallon a day. That may sound like a lot but it is ideal.
An easy way to do this is to buy a half gallon water jug, fill it in the beginning of the day and make sure it is empty by the end of the day. Another way to do it is to keep track of how many glasses of water you drink. Although it is bothersome to keep track, the water will be cooler and taste better. You can also mark down the amount you drink on a piece of paper or on your notepad.
But aren’t fruit drinks good for you? No way! They are just as sugary as soda. The only difference is they are not carbonated. People will still think it is healthy though just because it is fruit.
